Q. Is there a Best Butt Exercise?

A. Well my personal opinion on this is there is yes there is but many would disagree with my verdict as well as many who would join my cause.

I would say the "Squat" is the best exercise you can do period ... though it does not mean it should be the only exercise you should do for your body or your bum.

The squat wins the day however in that it is fantastic for your bum and also for flexibility and for a total body workout.

Bum - You need to clench your gluteus muscles hard when you are squatting properly which is great but also all the muscles attached to it from the groin to the legs to the core muscles are all involved which means the toning of all parts around your bum are going to get an awesome workout as well as this butt firming exercise.

Flexibility - Being able to squat down very low can be hard for people who sit in an office chair all day. Muscles that are very short complain and hinder you and it requires a lot of stretching to be able to even do a squat properly. This extra flexibility is very helpful however and will allow you to do other exercises better as well.

Total Body Workout - While you can squat with no weight and that is ok, when you use weights with it with hand weights or barbells over your shoulders you are adding extra resistance that will also activate shoulder muscles, more core muscles and many others. The more muscles that get stressed the more the body reacts releasing hormones that help with muscle growth and health.
